Here at CrossFit Hayle we strive to provide a universally scalable Strength and Conditioning program that allows people of all abilities to train together no matter their level of ‘fitness’; whether you are a seasoned athlete looking to compete at an elite level or a grandparent looking to remain mobile, our core programming is accessible and doable for absolutely everyone!
As all our training is done in a group environment, our members find they push themselves harder and are able to achieve much more than they thought possible! Each individual will perform at an intensity that fits their own fitness level so if you have no sporting background, have never set foot in a gym and have poor fitness, it DOES NOT MATTER! CrossFit it scalable too ALL abilities and you will build fitness and strength at a pace that suits you!

Ted Mulhearn
Ted is one of our co-owners, originally from Liverpool, you can’t miss his Scouse accent! After years in the hospitality business he found his love for CrossFit and pursed a career in coaching. It has gone from strength to strength ever since and after moving to Cornwall made the dream come true by opening CrossFit Hayle with partner Kayley. The CrossFit journey continues for Ted after recently returning as part of the Judging Team for the Meridian Regionals in Madrid!

Kayley Elms
Kayley is the other co-owner at CrossFit Hayle, originally coming from a background in Dance, there’s been lots of twists and turns in the journey. After completing a BSc Hons in Business Management and Accounting in London, Kayley pursued her career in Accounting, began studying the AAT and gaining experience in an accounting firm. After the birth of her first child, CrossFit was her way to shed the baby weight and it became an addiction! Eventually she completed her CrossFit Level 1 course and her coaching career started! Finally, CrossFit Hayle was created and the journey continues with balancing CrossFit and family life. Kayley is excited to be back studying and opening up her offerings through nutrition as well, she is excited to start offering additional services in Summer 2019.

Rosie Wills
Rosie is CrossFit Hayle’s Physiotherapist and Sports Massage Therapist. Rosie firstly achieved a degree in Biological Sciences in 2012 before she worked as a Physiotherapy Assistant at Derriford Hospital. This confirmed her aspiration to become a Physiotherapist and she went on to complete her second degree and qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2016. After qualifying, Rosie worked in Southampton as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and attained her Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage in 2017. Being from Cornwall originally, Rosie was keen to move back home and started working at St Michael’s Hospital in Hayle as a Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist in June 2018. Rosie has been keen to start CrossFit for a few years and started training at CrossFit Hayle in July 2018 which, as she expected, has become a new passion. Combining this new passion with her love for her job, Rosie is excited to now be running a Physiotherapy and Sports Massage clinic every Thursday evening at the box for CrossFit Hayle members. Her expertise and personal understanding of CrossFit training make her a real asset to the team.
